Best Beginnings gives the Baby Buddy app a great start

Launching the Baby Buddy app created by Despark

Last Wednesday Best Beginnings - a UK charity that works to give all babies an equal start in life by helping their mothers, officially launched the Baby Buddy mobile app at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. We were thrilled to be there to celebrate the creation of this app, which Despark developed.

We sent our Director of Production, Stoyan Ilchev and CEO Adel Zakout to attend the launch. Stoyan worked closely with Best Beginnings on this project to help keep their commitment to giving every baby the healthiest possible start in life. They came back really inspired and Adel had this to say on our behalf.

"I love for Despark to work on projects that really matter in people’s every day lives. Working with Best Beginnings on Baby Buddy has been a great experience for us, and we’re really proud of the app that we’ve built. But hearing a young mother talk about how we’ve helped her children has been the most rewarding part of this project, by far. That’s the sort of thing I’d really us to do more of.”

So, thank you to Best Beginnings and in particular to Alison, Katherine and Anna for allowing us to take part. We think that Health and Technology is a place where a lot of important, and very necessary, digital work will happen and your vision and expertise was something we enjoyed very much.
